The Fighting Kemper's Continued

Born at Cedar Grove, Virginia, November 23 1753. He was a second cousin of Bishop Jackson Kemper, and of the same noble type. his name will always be associated with the Western Presbyterian Church, and the grand and noble work of this great and good man needs no detailed mention here, his life has been told in a memorial by his grandson, Dr. Andrew Carr Kemper. Rev. Mr. Kemper died on August 20, 1834.
"I heard a voice from Heaven , saying unto me, write, from henceforth blessed are the dead who die in the Lord: even so saith the Spirit; for they rest from their labors". Rev. xiv. 13.
